GORDON HENDRICKS’ new show, Aloha From Hawaii, comes to the Grand Opera House, York, on Friday, November 7.

More than an ordinary theatrical show, Aloha From Hawaii, is a long-term dream of Gordon, pictured, to replicate Elvis’s original iconic show, as beamed, via satellite, from the island of Oahu, Honolulu, in 1973.

It was reputedly seen by one and a half billion people worldwide.

Gordon’s presentation is close to the original with a full Jose Guercio sound-alike orchestra, complete with The Sweet Inspirations, JD Sumner and the Stamps Quartet, not forgetting Elvis’s female soprano Kathy Westmoreland.

The raw energy and sheer charisma of Gordon’s performance, who has just been crowned 2014 Collingwood Grand Champion in Canada at the world’s largest Elvis Festival, makes this a night to remember.

Along with 20 musicians and singers, this show creates a magical evening of Elvis that has never been done before in the UK and leaves the audience believing they are seeing the original concert in Hawaii.
