GRUNGE legends Pearl Jam will be at the First Direct Arena, in Leeds, in July as one of only two UK dates of a European tour.

Pearl Jam released their much-anticipated 10th studio album Lightning Bolt in October, which debuted at number two in the UK charts, their highest chart position since Vs, which was released in 1993.

One of the key bands of the early 1990’s grunge movement, Pearl Jam scored a massive hit with their debut album Ten.

Featuring the hit singles Alive, Even Flow and Jeremy, Ten has become one of the highest- selling rock records of all time.

To date, the band have sold more than 31.5 million records in the US, and an estimated 60 million worldwide.

Pearl Jam have outlasted and outsold many of their contemporaries from the grunge breakthrough, and are considered one of the most influential bands of the 1990s.
