THE Last Laugh Comedy Club returns to Scarborough Spa for the first of three Christmas specials on Friday.

After the success of its new comedy club, which launched in August, The Spa has incorporated the evening into the Christmas party night season with some of the hottest UK comedians on the bill.

The first evening is headlined by Jason Patterson, the star of BBC Three’s Laughtershock and a former winner of the Loaded Laftas Rising Star Comedy Award.

Jason has previously supported comics Imran Yusuf and Ava Vidal on two nationwide sell-out tours and in London.

Regularly bringing the house down at comedy clubs across the UK, Jason has also performed shows in North America, Africa and Europe.

He will be joined by Last Laugh Comedy Club founder, Toby Foster and after proving popular in an earlier appearance at the club, Liverpudlian Jamie Sutherland completes the bill.

There will be two more Christmas specials on Friday and Saturday, December 20 and 21, featuring comedians Debra Jane Appelby, Dave Williams and Paul Pirie, plus an edition between Christmas and New Year on Saturday, December 28.

Tickets for the Last Laugh Comedy Club Christmas Special can be purchased with or without a food option, with tickets starting at £15. See www.scarboroughspa.co.uk for more details.
