THE PENULTIMATE Malton Monthly Food Market for 2014 takes place on Saturday, November 8.
For November’s market, Ashley McCarthy of Ye Old Sun at Colton, will be donning his chef’s whites for demos at 11am and 12noon.
Ashley said: “At Ye Old Sun, we create innovative food using only the very best local produce. We change our menu daily, ensuring diners enjoy the freshest, most flavoursome dishes available.
“We are looking forward to appearing at the Malton Monthly Food Market in November. I hope to prepare a full three course menu of starter, main and dessert in front of a live audience.”
Additional chef demos will be announced in due course.
The market includes free entry, free parking, live music from Malton White Star Band, and the Malton CIC cafe.
November’s stallholders include artisan bakers, fishmongers, rapeseed oil producers and local wines.

The last Malton Monthly Food Market for 2014 will be the Christmas market on Saturday, December 13t The 2015 markets will resume in March.
