Masterchef finalist at food market
A MASTERCHEF finalist will appear as guest chef at Malton Monthly Food Market on Saturday, October 11.
Saira Hamilton appeared on the programme in 2013, reaching the final four on the strength of her Bengali-inspired food. She will showcase her culinary talents in Malton at 11am, noon, 1pm and 2pm at the market’s Cookery Theatre inside the Milton Rooms.
She said: “I am delighted to be in Malton again. We are regular visitors to the town. We always eat well and receive a warm welcome.”
The monthly market, which will trade from 9am to 3pm and feature more than 35 food and drink stalls in the Market Place, will coincide with the annual Ryedale Book Festival on October 11 and 12.
