A MALTON businessman has co-written a third book.
Alan Walker, director of Fersina Windows, has continued his research of prehistoric rock art and monuments in Directionality: Within Prehistoric Landscapes Of North East Yorkshire.
Written with Brian Smith and Ken Grant, the book takes forward ideas and interpretations already published in two best-selling volumes of Rock Art And Ritual to new levels.
Alan said: “Our previous work has had very favourable reviews by the Prehistoric Society and Antiquity Magazine.
“Our latest book draws the whole argument together as to the purpose of the strangely carved rocks and monuments and their location within the landscape.”
Alan said he had been interested in prehistory for most of his life.
“With this latest book we have used graphs, photos and statistics, and it is aimed at anyone interested in finding out about the period.”
The book is available from Fersina Windows, in Horsemarket Road, Malton, priced £14.99.
