EDUCATING the consumer of tomorrow about where their food comes from is a key role for the NFU.

The Let’s Talk Farming roadshow, along with a wide range of educational resources, help the organisation to spread these messages loud and far.

The NFU Let’s Talk Farming Roadshow is heading to North Yorkshire for several dates this year.

The show tours the country throughout the year and can be seen at more than 100 town squares, seaside resorts, county shows and schools.

It reaches tens of thousands of people across England and Wales, letting them know why farming matters in the twenty first century.

Whether its hands on experience of milking a life-like cow, matching cereals with end products or talking about the Red Tractor logo – the Roadshow aims to engage, educate and entertain children and adults of all ages.

It will be in our area at Yorkshire Agricultural Society children’s days in Harrogate on June 14 and 15; the Great Yorkshire Show July 12 to 14; Whitby Regatta on August 13 and 14; and a Countryside Live event in Harrogate in October.
