FARRIERS gathered at Rainbow Equine Hospital, Old Malton, for a day of free lectures and demonstrations using the newly-developed Michel Vaillant shoeing system.
The hospital team welcomed 57 farriers and vets for the day, which was additionally sponsored by the veterinary drugs company Dechra and Hallmarq Veterinary Imaging.
Lectures were given by Rainbow Equine Veterinary Partners Ieu Pritchard, Jonathan Anderson and Moses Brennan, and remedial farrier Chris Wiggins and consultant vet Meredith Smith .
