MEMBERS of the Yorkshire Federation of Young Farmers clubs joined together on Sunday for the Malton Auction Mart Annual Stock Judge of the Year Competition.

About 80 members competed on the day and were judged in the categories on beef cattle, breeding sheep, butchers lambs and dairy cattle.

Ryedale District of Young Farmers would like to thank, Malton Auction Mart, and all those who made the day a success. especially Ann Welham, all the judges and stewards, Mrs Vitty and Mrs Douglas, the catering team, and most of all farmers for giving up their animals for the day.
