FORTY-FIVE riders set out on the 16th annual Four Forfeits Fun Frolic ride.
The popular pleasure ride through the scenic moors and valleys within the Saltersgate Farmers’ Hunt country is interspersed with a series of fun challenges along the route.
Riders enjoyed breakfast at the Fox and Rabbit Inn, Lockton, before tackling the four forfeits.
The well-marked 14 mile route could be travelled at a leisurely pace as the results were decided by the scores awarded when undertaking the games and challenges.
The weather could not have been better and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the ride. Each competitor who completed the course received a rosette in recognition of their achievement.
The day was rounded off with a hunt social evening at the Fox and Rabbit Inn.
