RANIA Shamel celebrated a double at Irton Riding Centre’s unaffiliated showjumping competition on Sunday, February 7.
Rania, riding Nufey, proved to be unbeatable in the hotly-contested 95 and 105cm horse classes.
Di Feaster, of Hamley Hagg, took the top honours in the 75cm riding, Easter, and Norton-based Vicky Newbould rode Flow to victory in the 85cm.

95cm – 1 Rania Shamel & Nufey, 2 Lauren Burton & Captain Romilli, 3 Vicky Newbould & Flow.
105cm – 1 Rania Shamel & Nufey, 2 Paula O’Donnel & Guinness, 3 Jacob McCulloch & Galway Bay.
Lead Rein – 1 Sophie Walker & Peggy, 2 Molly Robinson & Bubsie, 3 Gareth Newbould & Cracker.
65cm Pony – 1 James Bell & Stafford, 2 Lucy Gilsenen & Maddy.
75cm Pony – 1 Lucy Gilsenen & William, 2 Mary Kellett & Cleo.
85cm Pony – 1 Katie Walker & Midnight, 2 Katie Walker & Snap.
