KATIE Robertshaw, from York, and her horse Queens Law has returned back to the competition circuit with all guns blazing.

Queens Law, who has been laid up from work for 18 months with a suspensory injury, has been slowly brought back into work with a detailed work plan to give him the best chance of gaining full recovery under the watchful eye of Minster vet, Katie Brickman.

Katie and Queens Law, who have successfully been competing in British Eventing and all local riding club events before injury, seem to have put the past two years behind them and are back to full flight.

Katie, who has plans to return to the British Eventing circuit within the next couple of months, has been putting in the work at local competitions to get back to the level they were at, but seemingly have come back better than ever.

The pair put in their second appearance at Malton Riding Club’s dressage event, last Sunday to win both the prelim and novice sections. The prelim was a narrow win of just half a per cent over her regular team mate, Chloe Fairley riding her lovely coloured mare, Stanhopes Song of the Sea, who also put in a fabulous test.

The novice was a clear win for Katie with a four per cent lead, again over Chloe Fairley and Stanhopes Song of the Sea, who had to settle forcame second.
