The last in the Horslyx dressage series at Beckside Livery came to an exciting climax last week, coming right down to the wire in some sections.

Horslyx have very kindly sponsored the amazing prizes for this years series with the lucky winners receiving polo shirts, licks, holders and much more.

First was the intro under 14, which has been lead all series by Xavia Crossling last years winner, but Becky Tookey rode a fantastic final test on her mothers horse George to win the class and gave her one point ahead of Xavia and claiming the championship.

The senior intro championship was taken by Rebecca Noble riding Tig, although Beth Hodges won the class on the night Rebecca was far enough ahead to clinch the top spot this year.

Briege Robertson and Lilly were crowned champions in the Prelim under 16 where they have led the points all the way through and were run away victors.

The senior Prelim champion was Lauren Burton riding her own horse Ranger, her nearest rivals were eleven points behind her the biggest lead over all the classes. Jess Shaw riding Trixi had made a late bid for the top spot winning on the night with a huge 74.40% but this was not going effect Lauren's lead.

The novice could not split Lauren's two horses Ranger and Land Quest owned by Sue Allerton, who have been battling against each other all series it was quite nice that they finished on equal points at the end.

Class 2 prelim – 1 Jess Draper & Trixi, 2 Katherine Rayment & Zak, 3 Lauren Burton & Ranger

16 & under – 1 Becky Tookey & George, 2 Ellie Craven & Emma, 3 Briege Robertson & Lilly

Class 3 – 1 Lauren Burton & Ranger, 2 Jess Draper & Trixi, 3 Lauren Burton & Land Quest.
