YOUNG Holly Shepherdson, from Brompton-by- Sawdon, near Scarborough, is having a flying season on her schoolmaster, Longslade Dancing Firebird, at the Friars Hill Stables winter dressage series.
She secured another first in the intro test and a close third place in the prelim 4 last weekend.
Liz Cammish and her mount Hilton were also in fine form to finish second in the first test of prelim 4 and went one better in her second test to win the prelim 12 section easily.
Zoe Colling and Splash took home a fifth in the prelim 12 and an outright win in the novice 34.
The pair are proving to be a good combination in all disciplines, having numerous wins and places at both dressage and showjumping.
The next competition at Friars Hill Stables will be showjumping on Sunday.
