SMITHSON John William Pat, Peter, Jacqueline and families would like to thank relatives, friends and neighbours for the cards, messages of sympathy and kind words of John. Special thanks to Dr. Hughes, District Nurses and staff of Kirkbymoorside Surgery for their support. Thanks also to doctors, nurses and staff of Maple Ward, Scarborough Hospital. Thanks to the ladies of Eldercare and all who came to support the family in caring for John at home. Thanks also to Kirkbymoorside Bowling Club for allowing us to hold the refreshments there and to Marian for the catering. Special thanks to the Reverend Mark Brosnan for his thoughtful service and to Geri Funeral Director for her kindness and caring arrangements. A very special thanks to all who attended the service and so generously gave donations to the chosen charities. Heartfelt thanks to Marjorie Coughlan for the beautiful solo of ''All through the night''.
