A WELL-KNOWN TV star has launched a classic car calendar to raise money for charity.

Sarah Crabtree, who starred in Bangers and Cash, is set to launch the Evoke Classic’s 2023 Classic Car Calendar, which celebrates the best of classic cars.

Proceeds from the calendar will go to Bone Cancer Research Trust and the UK Sepsis Trust.

Sarah starred as office manager in the Thornton-le-Dale set TV show which focused on the Matthewson’s auction house in the town, before leaving the show in 2021.

The show followed Mathewson’s search for the UK’s forgotten motors before bringing them back for auction.

Sarah said: “The calendar will provide a showcase for everything that is unique, wonderful, and quirky about our great classic industry.

"More importantly, I’m hoping a few quid will be raised along the way too, as we’ll be supporting our chosen charities with the proceeds – Bone Cancer Research Trust and the UK Sepsis Trust.

“After being rushed to hospital last year with sepsis, I realise how important it is to be aware of the early indicators of this sadly often-fatal condition.”

Operations director at Evoke Classics, Joanne Lawrance, said: “We have had entries from all over the UK and abroad too, and the quality of the photos has been amazing.”

The calendars will be available to buy online at https://www.evoke-classics.com/ from November 15, 2022.
