THE Feversham Cricket League have decided to cancel its 2020 league season and association cup competitions.

The league’s chairman, secretary and representatives from its five member clubs - High Farndale, Glaisdale, Lockton, Rosedale Abbey and Slingsby- unanimously agreed upon scraping the season amid the coronavirus pandemic.

A spokesperson for the Feversham Cricket League said: “Despite the league experiencing varying degrees of fortune in the last 20 years, it still manages to survive, and will continue to do so provided the clubs continue to stimulate sufficient interest to be able to, hopefully, resume in 2021.”
