THE date of Michael Fafera’s next fight has been changed from Friday, March 6 to Friday, April 3.

The venue, Leeds’ Elland Road Pavilion, remains the same for the light heavyweight prospect.

Fafera will be competing in his seventh professional bout.

Huntington-based Fafera has reeled off six victories from as many fights since making the make into the paid ranks in September 2018. Two of those victories have come by knockout.

The 25-year-old has yet to have his opponent for the bout confirmed.

There are a number of other fellow up-and-coming Yorkshire fighters set to feature on the card.

Joining Fafera on the bill are Sean Hare, Adil Anwar, Danny Evans, Jack Bateson, Tom Young, Harry Fryer, Hamed Ghaz and Aiden Anderson.

Debutant Hughie Wilson - who trains out of Acomb-based Henry’s Gym as run by York’s former world title challenger Henry Wharton - is also on the bill.

Doors for the show open at 6pm, with boxing commencing at 7pm. Tickets begin at the price of £40.
