WUSOOL (USA) has arrived at Lilling Hall Farm stud to take up stallion duties for the 2020 season and is available for mare bookings.
A Group 3-winner in France, the five-year-old bay stallion comes to York from Shadwell stud, Newmarket.
He is the only son of Speightstown to stand in the UK. His dam Torrestrella (IRE) is herself a Group 1 winner in France.
Wusool is standing at £1,500. To book mares in or for any bloodstock enquiries, Gary Sanderson can be phoned on 07950622402, emailed at garysanderson.lhf@gmail.com or contacted on Facebook through the Lilling Hall Farm page.
Gary and Lynne Sanderson took over at Lilling Hall Farm in 2013, when it was described as "a derelict old farm, barely liveable" and the couple found themselves warned by land agent Rod Cordingley: “You're a brave man if you take this place on”.
Seven years on and it is has been transformed into a fully functional thoroughbred running business, training yard and stud combined "to breed and race our own bloodstock," said Gary.
"No better way in the same way as Coolmore, Darley or Shadwell."
He added: "We can undertake any form of business here whether it be foaling, rearing, breaking, covering, racing, transportation and each horse gets a personal one to one from myself in its path to the racecourse.
"We have acquired a new stallion in Wusool."
Anyone interested in becoming part of the team as prospective owners, breeders or in sales in this expanding business, phone Gary for more information.
