MALTON Squash & Racketball Club are planning a junior open day session next weekend.
From 10am on Saturday, July 27, all are welcome to try out the sport in a safe and friendly environment.
In the recent junior club championship, Rohan Simpson bested a strong opponent in Oliver Simpson to win the main final.
Oliver James beat Lauren Wilson to lift the plate at the end of a competition which saw 18 take part.
Meanwhile, the club's juniors have a new sponsor.
A club spokesman said: "Malton Squash & Racketball Club would like to thank Bright Steels for kindly sponsoring the junior shirts.
"We would also like to thank MKM, who have also donated a yearly sum towards any kit and training gear."
The juniors train every Tuesday night 7pm to 8pm during the school term with qualified coach Matt Brisdon.
