PICKERING Town suffered late heartbreak in the FA Trophy against Ramsbottom United.
Kyle Jacobs fired past Pikes keeper Charlie Andrew in the 89th minute to secure a 2-1 replay victory for the Rams in the third qualifying round.
Evo-Stik League west division high-fliers Ramsbottom go on to face the premier division outfit Workington in the first round proper.
After Saturday's goalless draw at Mill Lane on Saturday, Ramsbottom opened the scoring on the break in the 15th minute through Nic Evangelinos, who slotted in from Eddie Moran's ball over the top.
Ryan Blott got the visitors back into the game from the spot just after half-time, confidently dispatching high and to keeper Sam Ashton's right after Ged Dalton had been brought down.
But Moran picked up his second assist of the evening as he teed up Jacobs to shoot from the edge of the area for the last-gasp winner.
Pickering return to Evo-Stik League east division action on Saturday with a trip to Stamford.
