Ryedale Family History Group's next online talk is on Wednesday, May 19 at 7pm the talk is about 'Getting the most from a visit to The National Archives' by Les Mitchinson, who has been a professional genealogist for over a decade.
The Nation Archives, based at Kew, London, is the official archive and publisher for the UK Government.
Wendy Barker, Chairman said: “As family history researchers we rely very much on local archives for information to help us and at some point, a visit to The National Archives is recommended to consult certain documents that are only available there. With Les to offer us help to get the most from a visit, we can look forward to planning a trip.”
