A BUSINESS is supporting the Sunrise Walk, a fundraiser for Saint Catherine’s.
The Harbour Bar, in Scarborough, will once again be supporting the walk by offering a standard ice cream cone or a hot or cold drink to participants.
The popular event, organised by Saint Catherine’s, is usually held on a set date during September and features a six-mile walk around the North and South Bays.
However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it is not possible to hold a group event this year. Instead, Saint Catherine’s is inviting supporters to do their own walk, with family or friends, at a location of their choice, on any day during September.
“We would like to say a huge thank you to the Harbour Bar for their unwavering dedication and kindness in supporting Saint Catherine’s, year after year,” said Susan Stephenson, communications and marketing manager at Saint Catherine’s. We know our walkers will be thrilled too.”
To claim a free ice cream or drink, participants need to show their confirmation, email to Harbour Bar staff during September and mention the Sunrise Walk.
