AN elderly woman with an ankle injury has been rescued from Beck Hole.
Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team (SRMRT) were called at around 2.40pm yesterday to assist Yorkshire Ambulance Service and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
The elderly woman was in severe pain in the valley above Beck Hole, near Pickering, due to an ankle injury.
Crews used a stretcher to carry her approximately 1km to the road ambulance for medical assistance.
