A GREENHOUSE, shed and fencing in a garden were badly damaged by a fire on Christmas Day.
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said the fire broke out at 5am at a property in Kirkbymoorside.
It started in a small green house before spreading to a wooden shed and approximately 10 metres of fencing. Fire crews used hoses to tackle the fire, which was believed to have been caused by a faulty halogen heater in the greenhouse.
