POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an attempted street robbery in Scarborough.
The victim was hit over the head with a rock by a man and suffered concussion and minor cuts to his ear. It happened in Dean Road at 9pm on September 13, but details have only just been released.
The suspect is described as white, 5ft 9ins tall, slim build, early 20s with slight growth of a beard and short hair.
He was wearing trainers grey joggers, a grey T-shirt with a black logo on the front and a black hoodie over the T-shirt. He had his hood up at the time of the incident.
Witnesses should phone police on 101 and quote NYP-16092019-0443.
