ONE of the UK’s favourite poets makes a welcome return to Scarborough’s Stephen Joseph Theatre (SJT) this autumn to perform poems both old and new.
Pam Ayres has been making the nation laugh for more than 40 years. She will be performing poems from her new book Up In The Attic, published in September this year, along with classic poems and stories from her long career.
Pam’s recent TV appearances include Springwatch, Celebrity Mastermind and Celebrity Antiques Road Trip.
Recent radio includes series six of Ayres On The Air, Just A Minute, I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue and her second appearance on Desert Island Discs.
Pam was last seen at the SJT in 2013 when she played to sell-out audiences. Pam Ayres – Up In The Attic can be seen in the Round at the SJT on Friday, November 1 and Saturday, November 2, at 7.30pm.
Tickets, priced from £10, are available from the box office on 01723 370541 and online at sjt.uk.com
