The Tour of Britain is a cycling event, where as the name suggests, cyclists compete to race across the UK.

It's a multi-stage event that will begin in Scotland and finish up on the Isle of Wight in the course of just a week.

The race will also be broadcast to a global audience along with live coverage on ITV4.

It's an event that often draws in thousands of people to watch the cyclists come by their region, which is why details for the route are often sought out.

Currently, not all the details are out for the exact route, but an outline is in place at the moment.
