Blackburn Cathedral is the closest of the new mass vaccination centres to Barrow.
From today, ten new centres across the country will be offering jabs against Covid-19, as the government looks to offer 15 million people in the UK a dose by 15 February.
Thousands of jabs each week are set to be offered by the new centres, according to NHS England.
Located just over 75 miles away, Blackburn Cathedral is the nearest centre to Barrow residents.
Alongside Blackburn Cathedral, centres have been opened in Dorset, Somerset, Berskhire, Norfolk, Essex, Lincolnshire, Merseyside, York and London in addition to the seven existing centres.
The government has also announced that people aged over 70 as well as the clinically extremely vulnerable will be offered the Covid-19 vaccine this week.
