Put a fence around it
The Clifford's Tower mound is an accident waiting to happen.
How soon before a child runs down it, steps in one of the many, many divots and snaps their leg?
Then, look out City of York Council, you'll be sued.
Why not just put a fence all the way round as it's pretty obvious the "Keep off" signs don't work.

Taylor is a true legend
People in sport are frequently described as 'legends' and 'role models'.
However, there can be no doubt that Katie Taylor deserves to be labelled as both.
Her achievements in boxing, and the way she has almost single-handedly propelled women's boxing into the mainstream, are extraordinary.
From the age of 10, when she had to disguise herself as a boy before she was even allowed to box, to becoming an Olympic gold medallist and a multi-weight undisputed professional world champion, her journey is one that may never be repeated.
Her final fight at Croke Park was a fitting way for one of the greatest athletes of all time to bring the curtain down on a remarkable career.
For me, she stands alongside the late, great Muhammad Ali in terms of her impact on the sport and the inspiration she has provided to millions.
Thank you, Katie, for your grit, determination, excellence, and utter humility.
We have been privileged to witness your greatness.

Stop covering the land
If it is true we are facing a crisis of food supply then wouldn’t it be a good idea to stop covering acres of good agricultural land with unsightly imported Chinese solar panels?
There are large warehouse/factory roofs and non-productive derelict sites where those items can be fitted.

Reform's honeymoon is fading fast
After decades of dull, boring partisan politics by the two main parties in Britain, a refreshing breath of fresh air blew in, when Reform UK entered the political arena.
However, their honeymoon with the electorate appears to be fading fast, suggestions of financial irregularities within their ranks is commandeering the headlines.
Just at the time when Russia is issuing veiled threats to the west, our government order the army to stay in barracks and twiddle their thumbs all day instead of undergoing training exercises to save the meagre sum of £30m, showing Burnham and Healey's commitments to defence spending, like many other promises, to be totally false.

No leadership whatsoever
Not many years ago we elected into Parliament a representative who you deemed would voice your opinion and run the Country in an orderly fashion for the good of the populous.
At the moment we have a ruling Party that has lost control of our borders, legal system, international affairs, defence and they still come up with madcap ideas that are always detrimental to the country.
This is highlighted by the MPs for the Labour Party who have elected a leader that has not got a single clue how to solve these problems he seems to be content to parade round in a navy blue T shirt and show no leadership whatsoever.
The only solution is to call a General Election and let the electorate decide because he is not capable of making any decisions what soever.
