BIT of an old chestnut now I know, but I would like to ask Councillor Burr why she needs to park her vehicle outside our homes in the very limited parking spaces at the library end of Commercial Street, Norton (Monday, January 19 late morning/lunchtime)?
But I already know the answer.
Is Ms Burr going to provide parking spaces for herself, staff and visitors who attend her business when her grand scheme gets launched? Or is she going to campaign to get us residents’ permit parking areas to help us out?
I doubt if either will happen, or even be thought about. But do please think about this – it is locals who help build and keep a business, so if no one can park, no one will stop and shop, and we will lose what is left of our shops. Can you not see the bigger picture?
