RYEDALE policemen Mark Rees and Glenn Goodwill have been presented with long service and good conduct medals by the High Sheriff of North Yorkshire Alexandra Holford.
Both officers have completed 22 years’ service, after joining the police in 1988.
Inspector Tim Hutchinson, Ryedale’s police commander, said: “They have been familiar faces in Ryedale for many years. I am delighted that Mark and Glenn have received these medals. It is an appropriate way for North Yorkshire police and the wider community to thank two people who have been in the front line of policing for so long.”
