TELEVISION presenter Selina Scott is supporting the annual NSPCC Christmas fair at Castle Howard next month.

Organised by the Norton and Villages Fundraising Committee, the fair has been held for nine years.

Last year it attracted 1,500 visitors and raised more than £31,000.

“I am delighted to support the Castle Howard Christmas Fair once again for the NSPCC,” Selina said.

The fair will include more than 50 stalls selling a range of gifts including jewellery, home accessories, food and drink. There will also be a raffle.

Jo Dale, NSPCC community fundraising manager, said: “I would like to thank the NSPCC Norton and Villages Fundraising Committee for all their hard work in making this event so successful.

“This year we have an exciting range of stalls, offering something for everyone, so why not come along and join us for this unique shopping experience – all the money raised will help us to provide services across Yorkshire and the UK for the most vulnerable and abused children.”

The NSPCC Christmas Fair takes place on Friday, November 5, 9.30am-3.30pm. Tickets are £7 available on the door.

A preview evening is being held on Thursday, November 4, 5pm-9pm. Tickets are £12.50 to include a glass of wine and canapés.
