MALTON Show needs a new chairman, following the retirement of Charlie Breese after three years in the post.
He is keen to hear from anyone interested in taking on the job and can be contacted at his business headquarters, Westlers of Amotherby.
He said: “Last year’s show was a great success and again proved that moving it to a Sunday was the right move.”
This year’s show will be at Scampston Park on Sunday, July 18.
* A farmer’s market is to be held at Driffield Showground on Sunday, April 3. A wide range of quality local produce will be on sale, along with entertainment from The Miscellany Singers. Admission is free with on-site parking.
