Bombay Spice, in Goodramgate, is one of ten restaurants shortlisted for a Best Curry House Award this year.

As reported in The Press, Bombay Spice won Outstanding Achievement for Restaurant of the Year - Yorkshire and secured 3rd place for Outstanding Restaurant of the Year for the 2026 competition.
Speaking about this, Mohammad said: “These prestigious awards recognize our commitment to culinary excellence, and we couldn't be prouder of this incredible milestone.
“We want to take this opportunity to express our deepest gratitude to our amazing staff members for their tireless hard work and dedication.

The restaurant’s extensive menu features a la carte, early dining and lunch time special dishes.
Popular dishes include chicken karahi, a range of tandoori mixes, biryani and a large selection of vegetarian meals.
