A COLLAPSED tree has fallen onto broadband cables in a suburb of York.

North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said a crew from Tadcaster was called to Heslington Lane at 6.45pm yesterday (Sunday, September 27).
A fire service spokesperson said its crews cordoned off the area.
An earlier statement from North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said the tree had collapsed onto electricity cables.
