AN award-winning activewear brand has launched a new retail space in a York department store.
YANA Active, founded by Yorkshire sisters Charlotte and Sophie Wilson, is now available on the first floor of Fenwick in the Coppergate Centre.
Established in late 2019, the brand has already received several accolades, including Sustainably Entrepreneurs of the Year from the Great British Entrepreneur Awards in 2022 and last year's Drapers Independent Award for Community Champions.

Sophie Wilson, co-founder of YANA Active, said: "We're originally from North Yorkshire, so securing a space in Fenwick’s York store feels like coming home.
"Fenwick have been supportive of YANA from our inception and we're so grateful to have the opportunity to stock in another one of their iconic stores."
The brand focuses on sustainable activewear, using recycled materials and sourcing products from Europe to reduce its carbon footprint.
YANA Active has also built a community through female-focused wellness events and brand collaborations.
Charlotte Wilson, co-founder, said: "To be stocked in Fenwick is a nod to the brand we’ve created and the values we hold.
"Since 2021, we’ve held in-store activations and events in Fenwick Newcastle, and we’re really excited to bring the same energy and luxury activewear to York."
YANA Active is now available in Fenwick York.
