A man’s body has been found at a tip in East Yorkshire with a police investigation underway.
Police are on the scene at the Pocklington Household Waste Recycling Centre in Pocklington Lane, Burnby, after the body was found at about 3.15pm on Wednesday (September 23).
Humberside Police said its inquiries remain ongoing to establish the “full circumstances around the discovery”.

The force said the man’s death is “currently being treated as unexplained at this time”.
“Whilst formal identification has not yet taken place, the man's family have been informed,” a police spokesperson said.
East Riding of Yorkshire Council said Pocklington Household Waste Recycling Site is closed.
The council said the nearest alternative household waste recycling sites are in Market Weighton and in Driffield.
Police are urging anyone with information about the death to contact 101 quoting log 272 of September 23.
