A teenager and a 48-year-old suffered serious injuries in a crash last night, Monday, September 21.

The accident occurred at about 8.40pm on the B1249 between Foxholes and Langtoft, near the border with East Yorkshire.

North Yorkshire Police said the crash involved a blue Ford Fiesta driven by an 18-year-old man that was travelling from the East Yorkshire / Humberside area, and a blue Volvo V50, driven by the man, aged 48, who was heading in the opposite direction.

The force is appealing for witnesses who saw either of the vehicles beforehand, and for anyone who may have dashcam footage of either vehicle or the crash itself.
