A North Yorkshire public relations company has gone into liquidation with creditors owed almost £30,000.

Ripon-based Golden Frog Public Relations Ltd was incorporated in 2011 and it entered voluntary liquidation on August 17.

The appointed liquidators were XL Business Solutions of Cleckheaton.

A liquidator’s report known as a statement of affairs outlined the financial situation.

The report said Golden Frog, which was registered on the Phoenix Business Park on Low Mill Road, had assets of £13,880 available for distribution to creditors.

There were no preferential creditors- those who are paid first.

But there were unsecured creditors owed a total of £29,509.

They consisted of trade and expense creditors, who were owed £4,174.34; directors owed £2,000 and HMRC, which was owed £23,335 in corporation tax.

This gave a deficit of £15,629.38. With issued and called up capital of £10, this left an overall deficit or shortfall of £15,639.38.
