Four parents are set to tackle a challenging 63-mile run to raise funds for a primary school classroom.
On September 19, the group will participate in the Hardmoors 60 Relay, covering some of Yorkshire's most difficult trails.
The parents aim to raise funds for a new Year 5/6 classroom at Sutton-on-the-Forest Primary School.
The initiative is expected to further support the school, offering additional opportunities and resources to its pupils.
As integral members of the local community, the group expressed a strong desire to make a "real difference" to the school, while also embracing a challenge that is outside their comfort zones.
The demanding and potentially rewarding task will see them navigate the tough Yorkshire terrain over the span of the day.
The group has also set up a Crowdfunder page for those wishing to contribute to their cause, at: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/qr/6ymd1Qgn?utm_campaign=sharemodal&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=shortlink
