East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends to prohibit through traffic in Lob Lane, Saxon Road and The Crescent.
The closure will run from the junction with Moor Road to both junctions with Church Road.
It is due to begin at 8am on October 7 and end at 5pm on October 12.
The restriction is needed for carriageway maintenance patching works.
The council said the closure is necessary so the work can be completed while ensuring public safety.
The road will be closed to all through traffic; however, access will remain available for residents, emergency vehicles and pedestrians.

Traffic affected by the closure will be diverted via Moor Road and Church Road, Stamford Bridge.
The order will be made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
It will remain valid for 18 months, although the council anticipates the works will be completed within six days.
The affected roads are in Stamford Bridge.
