Wintringham celebrated a good turnout for its first horticultural show at the weekend.

The community came together for the event, held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, which exceeded expectations in terms of entries and attendance.

More than 500 exhibits were displayed, a surprising figure for the inaugural show.

The event saw families and friends from near and far enjoying the exhibits, the cafe, and the friendly atmosphere.

The show was well-received by attendees, with feedback being described as "overwhelmingly positive".

Organisers said: "On Saturday 5th September 2026, our community came together, and we held our first-ever Wintringham & District Horticultural Show.

"The turnout exceeded our expectations, and the feedback from attendees has been overwhelmingly positive.

"This milestone event has set the stage for what we hope will become a cherished annual tradition, showcasing the creativity, passion, and togetherness of our community."
