Crew called to layby barbecue on North Yorkshire road

A crew responded to reports of a fire seen near a main road in North Yorkshire yesterday evening (Wednesday).

The crew, from Malton, attended the incident in a layby on the A169 near Pickering.

It was found to be a barbecue under supervision but was extinguished by the responsible person after advice from fire crews.
