TWO incidents have blocked the railway from York to a major North Yorkshire station.
Rail travel between Scarborough and York is currently blocked after two incidents that happened this morning (August 14).
The first occurred earlier between Malton and Seamer after animals on the line meant that all trains had to run at reduced speed on all lines.

"Due to animals on the railway in the Weaverthorpe area earlier, trains had to run at reduced speed between Malton and Seamer in both directions," said a spokesperson for TransPennine Express.
This incident has now cleared, but trains from Scarborough to York (in that direction only) are not running after a safety inspection of the track.
"Due to a safety inspection of the track, the line from Scarborough to York is blocked. Engineers are aware of the issue and are their way to resolve the issue," added the spokesperson.
Disruption is expected until 11.30am today.
