Residents are being invited to share their views on cycling and walking improvements as part of a new East Riding survey.
East Riding of Yorkshire Council is calling on people to suggest ideas for new routes, upgraded paths, and better facilities to support active travel and make daily journeys safer and more accessible.
The survey asks residents to highlight areas where new infrastructure is needed, or existing routes require improvements.
Councillor Paul West, the council's cabinet member for environment and transport, said: "We really would love to hear from residents on what facilities they'd like to see for cyclists and pedestrians in our area, and to encourage people to ride and stride more often."
Suggestions could include new footways or cycleways, road crossings, cycle parking, dropped kerbs, street lighting, or upgrades to current facilities.
An interactive map on the survey website allows participants to pinpoint specific locations.
Feedback will inform the council’s next Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plans (LCWIPs), which aim to increase walking and cycling across the East Riding.
The council is working with the Hull and East Yorkshire Combined Authority to develop investment plans for the next three years, along with a longer-term pipeline of projects.
