A PROMISING York student has been awarded a place at medical school after achieving top grades at All Saints RC School.
Benjamino De-Giorgio is set to attend Hull York Medical School, pursuing his dreams of becoming a doctor after earning three As in Biology, Chemistry and Psychology.
He said he was "fascinated" by the medical discipline after an investigation into a heart condition he had during his studies.

He said: "I'm really excited to start medical school.
"I was worried my grades weren't going to be high enough after Year 12, but thankfully I did well in the UCAT and this year."
Headteacher Sharon Keelan-Beardsley said: “We could not be prouder of our students.
