A DELIBERATE fire involving a bike and a petrol can had to be extinguished by fire crews last night.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service says its Acomb crew were called out to Water Lane at 9.31pm last night (August 12) after reports of a fire.

“This was found to be a fire consisting of a push bike and petrol can and was out on crews arrival,” said a spokesperson for the force.
They added that the fire is believed to be deliberate.
