THIEVES have targeted a coastal Yorkshire town and made off with an Italian scooter.
North Yorkshire Police said a Vespa was stolen in Whitby between 5pm on Tuesday, August 4 and 3pm the day after.
The stolen scooter, registration LG61 LRF, features a black seat cover and was missing its windscreen at the time of theft.

North Yorkshire Police are urging anyone who may have seen the scooter or has information about its whereabouts to come forward.
