Teddies and trains will take centre stage in a day of family fun on the tracks in York.
The Yorkshire Wolds Railway is inviting visitors to bring their favourite childhood companions for a special day out on Wednesday, August 19.
Children who arrive with a teddy bear will travel for free with an accompanying adult.
John Lidster, a YWR member, said: "In his life before the YWR, our locomotive 'Sir Tatton Sykes' was originally called Eddie, hence the name of our event where we welcome Goldilocks and Teddie.
"We want the day to appeal to as many as possible during the summer break, so when an adult buys a ticket on Wednesday 19 August, they will also get a free child ticket if they bring a teddy.
"This is a perfect summer holiday treat for the young, or young at heart."
Trains will run from 10am to 4pm, with the last departure at 3.30pm.
Guests can also explore the visitor centre, enjoy refreshments at the on-site shop "Buffers," and take part in complimentary colouring and a teddy-themed trail.
The railway, operated entirely by volunteers, will be open every Sunday and Bank Holiday until the end of October.
